We are East Dorset Beekeeping Association, run by eight dedicated volunteer committee members. Our helpers and members all share a love of bees and nature. Together we work hard to support safe, inclusive, and sustainable beekeeping in our community.
Our team gives their time freely alongside busy lives and family commitments. We want clear policies that guide, protect, and inspire every member. These statements show our commitment to health, safety, equality, and responsible beekeeping for all.

Policies and Governance Update
EDBKA is currently reviewing and updating its principal policies and governance documents to ensure they accurately reflect how the Association operates today, current UK legal requirements and our developing partnerships and activities.
Some documents are already in use but are being refreshed, while others are being introduced or revised before formal approval by the Management Committee. Updated versions are expected to be published from August 2026.
