We are East Dorset Beekeeping Association, run by eight dedicated volunteer committee members. Our helpers and members all share a love of bees and nature. Together we work hard to support safe, inclusive, and sustainable beekeeping in our community.
Our team gives their time freely alongside busy lives and family commitments. We want clear policies that guide, protect, and inspire every member. These statements show our commitment to health, safety, equality, and responsible beekeeping for all.

Policies and Governance Update
EDBKA is currently reviewing and updating its principal policies and governance documents to ensure they accurately reflect how the Association operates today, current UK legal requirements and our developing partnerships and activities.
Approval of new or updated documents was done in July 26. New or updated versions will be signed from August 2026. Existing approved versions remain in force until revised versions are formally adopted by the EDBKA Management Committee.
